Celebrating Two Great Romances: Steve & Danny and Donald & Timothy

Title: Ghosts of Christmas
Fandom: Donald Strachey Mysteries (movieverse)
Pairing: Donald and Timothy
Rating: R
Word Count: About 4,400
References/Spoilers: Spoilers from Shock to the System; spoilers for my stories "Like Water, Like Breath, Like Rain," and "Home Is Where the Heart Is."
Disclosure: I wish they were mine. Alas, they are not, so I'm just taking them out for a spin with thanks to the men who created them and the actors who brought them to life.
Summary: Don feels like he's done more harm than good in recent years. Someone from his past helps him see things more clearly.
Author's Note: This story is set in the same universe as "Like Water, Like Breath, Like Rain" and "Home Is Where the Heart Is". You can read this one without reading those first, but it will make a lot more sense if you've read those.

Summary: After a traumatic experience, Donald and Timothy try to leave old ghosts behind. Their decision leads them into a frightening encounter with the supernatural. Meanwhile, Don works hard to bring resolution to a cold case.
Author's Note: This story was published last year in Love Noir Deux, the Donald Strachey Mysteries Slash Zine (a few copies are still available-message me if interested). It is a FINISHED story, so you can feel confident reading the installments--this is NOT a work in progress! There will be 12 parts in all. I thought reading it in serial form might be fun since it's a long piece. New installments will be posted every 3-4 days.
